Arkanoid is a classic arcade video game, developed by Taito in 1986. The player moves a space vessel called the Vaus into position to deflect a ball towards rows of colored bricks, causing them to disappear, while keeping the ball from falling out of the playfield. Some bricks have special abilities that enhance the game play, including an increase in ball speed. Bonus points are earned in Arkanoid when the player destroys all of the bricks within a level and the advances to the next level to face a new pattern of bricks.
Arkanoid classic arcade game is available in two versions as an upright cabinet and a cocktail table.
